General George Washington
General George Washington didn't win every battle, he didn't even have the resources to safely quarter his Army throughout the long cold winter at Valley Forge, but he did have faith our Nation was destined for greatness. With disciplined integrity, excellent planning, and a devoted military, he defeated the strongest kingdom in the world.
As he transitioned to civilian life and the conversations about how to formulate our Constitution arose, he famously declared "If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."
Liberty's light has carefully been passed down over our 244 years as a Nation. President Ronald Reagan reminded us that "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."
And sadly, recent history documents the Communist tyrant Joseph Stalin famously boasting "The people who cast the votes don't decide the election, the people who count the votes do."
Our future, our freedoms, our lives depend on our legal votes counted correctly.
